CEDAW OPTIONAL PROTOCOL

This section of our website is dedicated to the Optional Protocol to the CEDAW Convention (OP-CEDAW). It aims to deal holistically with the use and interpretation of this treaty. However, since the OP-CEDAW and the CEDAW Convention act as a pair - with the former providing the mechanism through which the rights contained in the CEDAW Convention can be interpreted and applied - regard should also be given to the content of the CEDAW Convention section of our website.
