On 22 and 23 July 2021, IWRAW Asia Pacific alongside the Kenya Legal & Ethical Issues Network on HIV and AIDS (KELIN), the Initiative for Strategic Litigation in Africa (ISLA), the Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC), and the Miami School of Law, organised a regional judicial colloquium for Eastern and Southern Africa with a specific focus on access to justice for women’s economic rights.
This factsheet maps the outcomes of the colloquium especially the good judicial practices which solidifies the role of judges as active agents in respecting, protecting and fulfilling women’s economic rights.
